Join us February 1 to 3 for a trip to Founder's Week at Moody Church in Chicago. WGNB's Jack Haveman will be your host for this year's trip. While this year's speaker's schedule is still being finalized, you will have the opportunity to hear from MBI's new president, Dr. Paul Nyquist as he delivers the keynote address on Monday night. Here are the trip details:
- There will be two pickup/drop-off points - Calvary Church in Grand Rapids and Central Wesleyan Church in Holland. We will arrange for you to be able to leave your cars parked at these locations while we in Chicago. Cost for the bus is $50 per person. Make checks payable to WGNB and mail them to Box 40, Zeeland, MI 49464. No checks will be deposited until we have a firm committment of 40 persons for this trip.
- We will be staying at the Marriott Residence Inn near the Magnificent Mile in downtown Chicago (Monday & Tuesday night). The cost is about $105 per night (slightly higher if you want a suite). You will need to make these reservations on your own by calling the hotel directly at (312) 943-9800. BE SURE TO ASK FOR THE MOODY FOUNDER'S WEEK RATE.
- A full breakfast and sandwhich supper is offered by the hotel. The only meals you need to plan on paying for will be Tuesday and Wednesday lunch. We will be eating together as a group on Wednesday for lunch at Moody Bible Institute, prior to returning to West Michigan.
- The reservation deadline for the bus and hotel is Dec. 23rd.
