Only Days Remain In The 2008 Shoes Collection!
Shoe collection is taking place at many locations throughout the WCRF listening area through Sunday, August 3rd. WCRF invites you to drop off new shoes (and socks) for the 2008 Shoes For Orphan Souls (Buckner Orphan Care) shoe collection drive now. New shoes of all sizes will go to needy kids in Latvia along with a portion going to kids in need right here in our backyard in Greater Cleveland.
There are three things you can do:

1. Buy pairs of new shoes and socks and drop them off at one of the area locations listed here.
2. Travel to Latvia this fall with Mark Zimmerman and a team of other lay missionaries to deliver the shoes in the name of Jesus. Click here for details. (Mark's daughter, Erika, is serving as an Intern with Buckner this summer in Peru. Read her blog here.)
3. Pray that God blesses this collection. And that thousands of shoes go to exactly the kids God has selected. |

Saturdays on WCRF!
WCRF and Moody Radio offers great Saturday programs, including: Building Relationships with Dr. Gary Chapman, author of The Five Love Languages airs at 11 am. If you'd like to suggest a topic, call their toll free line anytime at 1-866-424-GARY. Following at 12 noon, hear a live 2-hour call-in program with Janet Parshall, called Talking it Over. She discusses relevant and news-worthy topics important to Believers. During Talking it Over, you can call in using 312-329-4460.
